Hello good people,
As separate as we are all currently living in this time of COVID-19, we believe in the strength and resilience of our local community and have been trying to think of ways to make what we do as filmmakers serve the common good. Here’s an idea…
A few years back we premiered our second feature documentary A Film About Coffee – a celebration of coffee, from its origins and cultivation, to the art of roasting, brewing and serving the perfect cup. Today we’re inviting you to rent or purchase the film on Vimeo with proceeds going to benefit the workers at local cafés. For about the cost of a cappuccino you can rent the film, or for less than the price of a bag of beans you can own it, while helping local coffee workers make it through this challenging time. We’re piloting this program with our own neighborhood coffee shop Four Barrel. Click on the link below to go to the Vimeo page for A Film About Coffee and on check out enter the code fourbfund. Net proceeds will go to their workers’ benefit fund.
We’re not stopping there… we want to extend this project to benefit any independent neighborhood café that currently has a formal fundraiser in place (via gofundme.com or similar) to benefit their staff. Café owners can contact us at the link below to participate and we’ll set you up with a unique code to share with your customers.
Thanks! We hope you enjoy the film. Now go wash your hands.
