We've been to some very far away places on various productions this year, so it's funny to say that one of the places we were pleasnatly surprised by is right here in the U.S.— none other than Madison, Wisconsin. Our awesome experience was partially due to the time of year that we filmed, at the peak of the Fall color explosion, but it wasn't just the beauty of the state that stuck with us... it's the people. Midwesterners really are the nicest! And the food— all those farms mean really amazing fresh food!
We were in Madison to continue telling the story of how Black & Veatch, an engineering company, retrofitted a Wisconsin powerplant to make it 98% cleaner. When you think of Wisconsin, farming is in the forefront, so we decided to tell the story through those that make Wisconsin the great state it is: the cranberry harvesters, the farmers, the cheese makers, and, of course, the cheese eaters!
Stay tuned for the finshed video, but in the meantime, enjoy these pictures from behind-the-scenes. We worked with many amazing people on this project, so we'd live to give a massive thank-you to Sky Sight RC for the beautiful arials, Dream Farms for letting us film a day-in-the-life of their farm, and Glacial Lake Cranberries for throwing us in the bogs— a pretty once in a life time experience.
